What doesn’t change in an ever changing world?

Jonathan Milligan says passions change but purpose endures. The world changes constantly and what interests and passions we have will definitely change over time. However, there is something that never changes about you. That’s your purpose and your identity. Your purpose is part of who you are.

That means, when your passion changes and therefore it redirects your message, that shouldn’t surprise you. However, your purpose still remains. It doesn’t change the fact that you still want to help and serve people. It still doesn’t change who you are. You are still that ONE word that you resonate with! Milligan presents that there are only a handful of what he defines as core human needs. No matter all that changes in the world, as long as we stay human, we will have to deal with these core needs.

They are: identity, health, wealth, relationships, spirituality, and wisdom.

Don’t focus on what is new. Don’t chase what is a fad. No matter where the world’s next trend is headed, humans will have to fill the needs in these areas. Choose a specific problem that is involved with these needs. And see if you have a solution that might be helpful to your target audience.
